. . . because the New York Times reports that "Wisconsin’s Crown of Cheese Is Within California’s Reach." It doesn't really matter. Everyone knows that the best cheddar cheese comes from Vermont anyway.

It's always a bit tough for us NH kids to concede anything to Vermont, but got to give props to vermont cheddar. And I am pretty ecumenical about maple syrup -- NH or Vermont, followed by Maine and New York, and then Canada. Getting syrup from anyplace else, well, what is the point?
