When You're a Hot Poet, You're Hot

A while back I wrote about an old friend who had his first poetry chapbook published. Well for Mr. Matt Guenette it seems that when you're hot, you're hot. Recently he discovered that he won The American Poetry Journal's book prize. In addition to $1000 and eternal fame, the prize carries with it the manuscript's publication (in poetry, besically your work has to win the prize before it sees publication; nasty business, that). Sudden Anthem will appear from Dream Horse Press (which carries an announcement of Matt's successes at the top of the page) at the end of this year or beginning of next.
