I received the book on Saturday and managed to complete it Monday afternoon - resenting the other things I had to do!!. Remarkable series of books by a remarkable author.
Steve -- I did something the other day that I have never done before: Knowing that I will not be able to start reading the series for some time, and knowing that while I love the movies, the last one will not be out until 2010, and knowing that I would not be able to avoid knowing the fate of Harry and his chums for three years, I actually read the epilogue at the local Hastings the other day. And I not only did not feel guilty, I felt good about it.
You can relax as the epilogue does little more than reassure a happy ending (plus maybe an "out" for future books in case she gets bored with all that money!)When you collect all the books together, go to the mountains for a week, take 3 crates of good ale and 3 bottles of scotch to indulge yourself. After this you will be a better and more sensitive person, albeit slightly inebriated!
You probably should have written "SPOILER ALERT" in the top of your message, but my readers will survive. I am intrigued by your plan and would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
