Slight Changes at dcat

We've decided to allow nonregistered folks to comment, but are keeping the word verification system. The goal is to keep spam down to zero but to allow anyone who would like to comment. Registration clearly limits participants because some people might not want to register, especially if they are stopping in for the first time from an outside link. We will change back to a registration system if unfettered access proves problematic. We have yet to delete a comment for any reason other than that it was spam or that it was a comment inadvertantly posted twice. Despite a reputation for cantankerousness, dcat (and Rebunk before it) has always had far fewer ugly comment wars and ad hominems than other blogs that preach to others about civility and then go on the attack. We hope to keep it that way.

The blogroll also is slowly growing. We only add blogs that we read and we think will be of direct interest to our readers. I added one today and will continue to do so as seems appropriate.
