The Curse of Some Suburban Dude

I just found out that I now hate the Houston Dynamoes so much! (Apparently the Revs, which is what we cognoscenti call them, have been to three MLS finals in recent years and have lost them all. I am going to write a book about the Curse of some guy who has consigned Revolution fans to a hellish existence that will come to define us. Any suggestions for who that guy might be would be most welcome.)

How about blaming it on the fact that a more accurate name for the team might be the "New England Treasonous Insurrection"? :P (I jest, of course; I'd have been a patriot even if on my side of the Atlantic).

Failing that, I find blaming John Adams often helps.

It shall be done: I blame the loss of the New England Revolution on the Curse of John Adams (but the British title will be "The Curse of the Treasonous Insurrectionaries").

As with another book that was for so long successful, now we shall just fit the facts to adhere to the theory. Good times.

The revolution will break my heart -- I fear that I may die without seeing them win one.

Oh, don't even get me started on those dastards from New York/New Jersey. For me it all starts with Tony Meiola . . .
The Curse of Steve Nichol has a nice ring to it.
Actually, it seems that the Revs are becoming the Buffalo Bills of MLS. Well that's a depressing thought for a Tuesday morning.
