Keep an Eye On The News

7 July marked the first and deadliest of the two series of terror attacks on London. 21 July marked the second. Both happened just before 9:00 am London time, almost exactly two weeks apart. Tomorrow marks four weeks since the first attacks, two weeks since the second, far less deadly but almost as disquieting ones. Let us hope that we do not see a recurring pattern tomorrow, 4 August. 9:00 here is 4:00 am on the east coast, 3:00 back in my part of West Texas. So far, there has not been a lot of hand wringing here, but surely it is on a lot of people's minds, and security on the tubes and bus lines may well be tight in greater London tomorrow.
