Um . . .

Not to bitch about the officiating in a game whan the Patriots were clearly the better team, but: That was a fucking first down.

I saw the game, too and it was exciting. I can understand your frustration. The Pats dominated the game. They were ahead throughout most of the game. But they allowed the Colts to erase a 34-21 deficit with less than five minutes left in the game. Also, consider the call...the call...the call...the very questionable decision made by Bill Belichick. Why would he decide to go for it with 2:08 left in the game and 4th and 2 from his own 28? I saw the press conference afterwards and Tom Brady indicated he was okay with the decision because it demonstrated Belichick's confidence in his offense. Perhaps, but in all actuality, what else could he say?..."I totally disagreed with Coach Belichick's decision." But couldn't you argue that the decision demonstrated a lack of confidence in his defense? After all, the Pats were ahead. All they had to do was play great defense (which they had been doing all night anyway) and they would have won the game. Again, I understand your frustration. Boy have I been there on many occasions. And don't get me wrong. I have nothing against the Pats. I love my Wes Welker (former Texas Tech Red Raider). But I love Peyton Manning, also. There are only two things I like about Brady: (1) He's a former Wolverine and (2) Gisele Bundchen...as Chachi would say, "wa, wa, wa!" (Don't throw a tomato at me, please!)

I'm officially done with the Pats till the playoffs. One of the truly worst coaching performances in the BB era, in a season of iffy BB coaching. Sure, the offense rocked (truly unpredictable in their play-calling for the first time all year) but the soft defense simply let the Colts march underneath to the red zone whenever they wanted...
