Unlike Fenway or Wrigley, which are charming and historic and wonderful, Yankee Stadium has history and it has the gorgeous facade, and the monuments, but on the whole, it is a cesspool. The remodeling of the 1970s turned The House that Ruth Built into a soulless approximation of what it once was.
