More China and Africa

In this week's New York Times Magazine James Traub has a long feature on "China's Africa Adventure." I addressed the issue of "China's Dual-Edged Sword in Africa" a couple of weeks ago. Africa will represent a pretty good backdrop for China's intended global policy over the course of the next few decades and our policy makers would be wise to keep a close eye on what goes on there. This is yet another of many reasons why Africa matters.
