New Yorkers and Pressure

Maybe I just cannot help myself. Maybe I have New Republic blogger envy. But over at Deep in the Count I take on what I see as an incredibly silly and self absorbed argument in which Jill Greenberg and one or two readers in the comments assert that there is no pressure like the pressure of living in New York and that somehow that pressure is reflected in the Mets. Or something like that. As of the time I write this, more people seem to be agreeing with me than disagreeing. Go check it out.
