Michael Lewis, he of
Moneyball fame, has a new book out,
The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game about a young man from Memphis, Michael Oher, who overcomes incredible odds to become a football manchild and certain future NFL draftee. I can not speak to the quality of the book. But Lewis distilled its essence into a
transcendental article in the
New York Times magazine a couple of weeks back. The article is Pulitzer-caliber stuff. In reading it, you will be giving yourself a little gift, I promise. It is that good.
